After graduating from West Virginia University in 1999, Matt McGlothlin worked for several small businesses observing successful and unsuccessful owners. The internet, proving to be fertile ground for aspiring entrepreneurs in the early '00s, captured Matt's imagination. What started with a few friendly web projects grew exponentially year over year. By November 2007 Matt was ready to leave full time work and focus solely on bitflip. Fellow entrepreneurs at 1235 W. Morehead St. welcomed bitflip and business exploded. After nearly two years of outsourcing to meet demand, Matt finally hired his first full time developer, Josh Klein, in July 2009. The bitflip story is still in early chapters. As the story develops, anticipation and excitement energize Matt and his fellow bitflippers . When he is not "working" (which is rare) Matt enjoys relaxing, watching anything football related, and spending time with family.
