Restaurant Traffic launches
A new facelift and renovation for Charlotte's most popular restaurant blog launched this week. Bitflip designed and organized the site to display content in a more cohesive format. New additions include traffic light reviews for local restaurants, breaking restaurant news and a contributor registration area. If you have what it takes to write reviews visit the site and apply.
We are excited to sponsor Ignite Charlotte on Sept. 13
The third installment of Ignite Charlotte takes place Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 at Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte. This is not your average speaker presentation event. Speakers are allowed 20 slides that auto advance every 15 seconds for a total speaking time of 20 minutes. Talks range from "Who Dares, Wins: Misevaluation of Risk in Modern Culture" to "Bringing Up Green Baby". This is a geek-centric event with most talks highlighting technology trends, creativity and ideas. This is an event that bitflip can really get behind as a sponsor. Our web design culture at bitflip mirrors the themes and creativity discussed during Ignite Charlotte.
Bitflip tackles The Restaurant Group family of websites
The Restaurant Group collectively owns seven restaurants including the popular Charlotte-based FUEL pizza chain. Management turned to bitflip to overhaul their collection of websites. Several past developers created the sites independently and NYC-based The Restuarant Group needs a more manageable solution. It's a natural fit for bitflip as we can lean on our past web experience with the bar and restaurant industry, Bitflip will integrate our flip{script} content management system and flipMail email marketing into all sites creating a seamless experience for TRG staff. Bitflip is a Charlotte, NC based company specializing in bar and restaurant websites with an emphasis on usability, content management, social networking integration, search engine optimization and email marketing.
New Partners for Parks site launched
Partners For Parks is a local non-profit supporting the Mecklenburg County parks department. Board members approached bitflip for help generating more local support for the organization. Bitflip creating a three pronged online marketing campaign. First, we utilized Facebook and Twitter to create buzz for an uptown park, Romare Bearden Park, currently held up in funding battles. We leaned on past expertise generating likes and follows through networking and sharing. The campaign generated 300 likes in a week and 75 followers. The second prong, a new website that highlights facts the public may not understand about the parks department. For instance the parks department oversees five public golf courses and has a world class aquatics center. The third campaing prong involved email marketing. We implemented a strategy to make email collection a priority at all events and on all online materials. Then we integrated the list with our own flipMail marketing system. The new site enables Partners for Park to continue the marketing campaign with easy to use online tools like flip{script} content managment at their disposal
Dilworth Neighborhood Grille working with bitflip
Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, a neighborhood restaurant in Charlotte, has chosen bitflip to design, develop and enhance it's online web presence. Bitflip will be incorporating its content mangement system, flip{script}, into the new Dilworth Neighborhood Grille website for easy management. The new site will be event centric with plenty of atmosphere photos and social integration.
One of Charlotte's oldest churches chooses bitflip
Founded in 1893, Dilworth United Methodist Church and its congregation have seen over 110 years of change in Charlotte. With its long history and enthusiastic members, the church is ready for more change in the form of its website. Overhauling the existing website is important to the church's public image and thus a thoroughly vetted process. Bitflip staff is proud to be selected as the firm to lead the endeavor.
Biotech firm selects bitflip to build new web presence
BioCytics is a Huntersville-based oncology drug and research firm. The biotech firm currently offers contract research services and plans to expand to clinical lab trials. Founder and CEO, Dr. John Powderly, started BioCytics in 2005. Since then he has seen steady growth in the greater Charlotte region's biotechnology industry. Bitflip developers plan to enhance their current web design and integrate flip{script} content management system to give BioCytics' staff full control over content.
New website for restaurant in Charlotte
Kennedy's Premium Bar and Grill opens in a few short weeks and the bitflip designed website launched over this past weekend. The grand opening event takes place Friday, November 5th and the buzz around Charlotte's Elizabeth neighborhood is growing. Nightlife enthusiast can sign up online for a complimentary ticket. Bitflip worked closely with owner Kevin Marcuse to develop an engaging site that includes a Twitter feed, Facebook status updates and email newsletter functionality. KennedysCharlotte.com takes advantage of bitflip's proprietary content managment system, flip{script} cms, which allows staff to update photos, add events, edit menu items and information. All signs point to a successful opening weekend with sign ups and traffic to the website spiking today. Visit the site and see construction and grand opening preparation. The Irish-themed bar and restaurant is also hiring for all positions.
Bitflip selected as web firm for new charlotte-based venture
A new and innovative web application will be hitting screens soon. The site, to be designed and developed by bitflip technologies, is the brainchild of local entrepreneur Kevin Gatlin. Kevin is the owner/proprietor of Fit City TV, a successful advertising network displaying tv advertising in upscale health clubs across Charlotte. His latest venture is an online estimate request application that will be designed to connect vendors and consumers in the Charlotte market. The web site will be a convenient tool that allows consumers to quickly receive estimates for desired services. Bitflip will apply our precise web design and development process to plan, design, prototype and develop the web site.
GYB Entertainment selects bitflip for web presence
Start up entertainment and recording studio, GYB Entertainment, is contracting bitflip to build it's online web presence. The Lake Norman based company will sign local and regional talent to its fledgling label and market extensively online. Social networks will play a large role as the website looks to serve as the hub of the over organization's communication. The website will include information on artists, tours, new releases and more.

Buckhead Saloon contracted bitflip to help launch its latest location in Atlanta with a brand new website. The site will feature events, live music, food and integration with social media. bitflip is thrilled with Buckhead's choice for a website provider.
Independent Healthcare Staffing launches new website
A leader in the travel healthcare staffing industry, Independent Healthcare Staffing (IHS) approached bitflip with the goal of improving and modernizing their current website and streamlining processes. IHS wanted a system that would interface directly with their backend operations and healthcare staffing. The hard work paid off. With bitflip's help, IHS significantly reduced repetitive tasks by seamlessly integrating the staffing software with the website. Bitflip is pleased to announce the latest awarded project. Bob Ledford's Adventure Motor Homes is the RV and recreational vehicle leader in the southeast. The dealership is in need of a website overhaul that utilizes the latest trends including social networking to improve marketing online. Bitflip will be building a custom inventory managment system and blog as well as integration with our content managment system, flip cms.

Morris International recently awarded Bitflip Technologies with a contract to rebuild their web presence. With five different businesses, Morris International has grown rapidly and is a leader in the sports marketing industry. Festivities at the Flip
Clients and friends mingled and talked while visions of websites danced on desktops. The December 4th bitFlip holiday party was a success! Good 'ole Saint Nick delivered three new website launches to lift holiday spirits. Food, drinks and merriment were also provided as a token of our gratitude. The support and cooperation of our clients has helped make 2009 prosperous for the Flip. We hope to usher in another year of record-breaking success. Thank you to all who attended.
